2013 Trek Superfly 100 AL Elite (Gary Fisher Collection)

Take 29-inch wheels, 110mm of rear travel, Trek technology and Gary Fisher geometry and what do you get? You get the Superfly 100 AL Elite and a shelf full of trophies. Trek's Platinum aluminum frame is fronted by a custom 100mm Fox fork. The rear consists of the super-efficient Full Floater and ABP rear suspension that makes braking more effective. It all teams up to deliver precise steering, telepathic handling and authoritative control. With all this light weight and speed, you need solid parts, too. And the Elite delivers with Shimano SLX 3x10 shifting with an XT rear derailleur, tubeless-ready Bontrager wheels with fat rubber and fully legit Bontrager Race Lite components. Down for racing, capable out on real trails, this Superfly is truly among the elite.

    Comments:

I use this bike for XC racing and I can put it where I want it on any single track, downhill or technical feature. The components are great, shifting is smooth and brakes are great, both never need any adjusting. Climbs great with no lag. Raced on 8 races and only had to straighten front rim once from a rocky race beat down. Awesome bike, been riding for 22 years and hands down, best bike I ever owned. Absolutely love it!

29lbs, size large out of the box. Shreds the singletrack, awesome bike, tight, fast, fun. Tubeless ready tires came w/tubes, gonna change low-profile tires. Plan to change out handle bars and seatpost to carbon fiber chi-chi's. Buy it, u won't be dissapointed.
