Cheap and finnicky

Cons

  • Short battery life
  • Unreliable charging

Comments:

I can only agree with all the reviews so far. The charging process is unreliable, you do not know when it is finished charging. Battery life time is low, after 2 months of everyday use last winter both my lights did not work properly anymore.

About Me Casual/ Recreational

Comments:

Product died after a month of VERY light use. Only had a chance to use it about 4 times before it lost the ghost. Further, the recharge method is finicky at best; it truly is a pain compared to using batteries: rechargeable or otherwise. Richardson Bike Mart was great in letting me return it for one of Blackburn's headlights (which are excellent, by the way). Get something that takes AAA or AA batteries instead; you won't regret passing up this product failure.

Stopped working after 2 months

Cons

Best Uses

Comments:

Light worked great for the first 2 months, even though the recharging method is very fragile and the recharging add-on device is easy to lose. After 3 months though, it only recharges enough to run for about 5 minutes, then shuts off. Blackburn didn't return my e-mails asking for service. Terrible (& overpriced) product, terrible service.

    Comments:

The light, at first, was very bright and was rechargeable (which is cool). After 3 or so charges, the light began to grow dimmer and dimmer to the point where i didnt feel like it really did anything. i stopped using it and bought a 3 pack from [...]for 20 bucks. All three still work. Moral? Not worth the money.
